Extend XAV5201 Network
I currently have an XAV5201 and an XWN5001. I would like to add another remote unit, but I can't find anywhere to purchase another XWN5001. What other component is compatible?

- clithesProdigyAmazon has the kit for £49.99; not sure you can buy it on its own.

(4th tab) - michaelkenwardGuru - Experienced UserI have a pair of XAVB5201s working in tandem with your setup.
I avoid Amazon whenever possible. It isn't always the cheapest, and doesn't like paying taxes. I have seen cheaper Netgear kit on offer in Currys. Still there:

Makes Amazon look like cowboys. - clithesProdigyHe was looking to purchase another XWN5001, not two more XAV5201s
Retailers other than Amazon are available ! - SamirDProdigy
They and ebay can have fakes and other shady products available for sale. If you want the genuine thing, use another trusted retailer. I know I do.michaelkenward wrote: I avoid Amazon whenever possible. - DjainoAspirant
I have exactly the same problem... this I believe is the most recent post about this and I have read this question 2 times before unanswered
I have also bought the XWNB5201 and I am really happy with it´s performance.. and now I would like to extend the powerline network to two other rooms the same way.
Trough my belief this was a starter kit and you can add multiple extender points, the problem is they are not for sale???
My setup is as follows
- XAV5201 - connected to router
- XWN5001 - in socket in kitchen (wifi spreader)
and I would love to have 2 more XWN5001 sockets to expand the network
- XWN5001 - in the attick (wifi spreader)
- XWN5001 - in the garden house (wifi spreader)
It looks like one kit is only capable of powering 1 socket since I am not able to buy these things seperately.
Do I really have to use 4 more devices to create what I want?
I was hoping 2 and not paying the same price again and have two XAV5201 laying around that I do not need.
I hope someone can answer this question
