Extender shows wifi connection but does not connect to internet

Question

Extender was working great for 6 months... now it still shows the wifi extender names... but will not connect to the internet.

I have rebooted wifi source, factory reset extender, but eventhough I can see the extender wifi names, will not connect to the internet

What router are you connecting it to?&nbsp;Are you setting it up via wps or the installation assistant?&nbsp;what firmware is on it?&nbsp;

I am using verizon router and setting up with wps... &nbsp;hitting button on extender, then wps on source router

Sorry for my ignorance... installation assistant?I originally set it up using quick start guide.. which says to put extender in same room as router... then hit wps on extender, then wps on router... it was working great for 6 months&nbsp;i can not access the mywifiext site

do you have v1 or V2? One has the mesh extender function.&nbsp;the second video on the support site shows using the installation assistant.&nbsp;https://www.netgear.com/support/product/EX6100Firmware?&nbsp;which router?&nbsp;
