How Can I Upgrade PowerLine Firmware?

Yes, that is the model I'm trying to upgrade because I now have to reset it to factory default every time I try to use the computer it's connected to, and it's very frustrating because it's new.

There does not seem to be new firmware for that.

Can you switch plugs around to see if this is down to the plug, its location or something else?
You could even try different cables.
Thanks, but I have done all the typical layer 1 troubleshooting. It is the unit itself. I would like to try to install the firmware regardless of whether there is a new version or not as it is the last effort I'm going to make before returning them.
