ip address issues Netgear XAVB1501+ powerline & Netgear DG834PN router

Problem
When trying to connect either my xbox or pc using the powerline adapters i get the message "invalid ip address" or "failure to assign ip address" messages.
However if i first connect using wifi on my pc my router gives an ip address and i can disconnect wifi , it just doesn't like powerline and can't identify anything using powerline. The connections are all green no porblems with interferance.
Router settings DHCP server is enabled, before anyone tells me to enable it.
i have tried manually setting an ip address.
i have run out of ideas :(

- MUAHAHA i solved it :D
you must i repeat you MUST rename the powerline adapters using the powerline config utility otherwise the router wont give out any ip addresses
plug and play my ass :p
