Light flashes green to red constantly

Hi,

 

i am am having a problem with the power line adapter performance LED constantly flashing between green and red, what would cause this? Is there any configuration I can do to stabilise this?

    I have the same problem, I connected my adapter in my gaming room to my desktop with a LAN cable, and it gives tiny lagspikes in my game (csgo) wich makes dedicated gaming hard. If you watch carefully you can see the ping jump when it happens. I only bought this PLW1000 yesterday, and have no other experience with powerline adapters. but hoped this would give a steady connection good enough to play fps games. Other than that, everything works fine, but I really hope we can resolve this problem, otherwise I'm going to return it within the week, and look for another solution. 

     

    I can see the power plug LED flashing from green to white to red all the time
