Need the "Network Security Key" for my PLW1000

Hi -

I am trying to get the PowerLine PLW1000 configured. I've got them plugged in, and all the right lights are showing up. When I try to join the network, I'm asked for a "Network Security Key." I don't know what this is. Can someone shed some light on this for me? Thanks.

  • Is this connecting by wifi?

Look at the back of the plug. Mine has a SECURITY PIN (WPS).

Yes, I was connecting via WiFi. Thanks for directing me to the location.

Netgear: if you're listening, figure out a way to make those characters larger. I could barely read them even with my glasses.

I had to take a photo with my phone and then zoom in on the details!
