Netgear Powerline AV500 + AV200 Does not provide connection anymore.

Hello!

So, I've been using a Netgear AV500 network adaptor to link my computer to the router for awhile.

Since the AV200 is compatable, I used that and connected that half to the router, and the AV500 was secured and connected to my computer. Following the connections steps, I had a stable connection in no time at all.

Now the problem arises. I've purchaced and installed a new router and reconnected everything to as it should be. I went through the procedure in setting up the network adaptors and both units are giving me green lights. Especially the AV500, since it can explain a lot through it's different colors.

However, with a proper link secured, proper connection displayed and everything, all computers connected through the Adaptors show as Unidentifiable and have no internet access.

Once again, the LED's show that everything is working as promised. I even tried a WPS connection to no avail as well as factory reseting both units with no product.

Do help me out here! :c

I have no idea what this is all about.

Your message is in the Powerline section but your footer lists a WiFi USB Mini Adapter.

You have also hijacked someone else's discussion.

Not sure that I understand what is going on. Lots of confusing details.

Does everything work without using the Powerline plugs?

Where are you seeing these messages? Something in Windows?

My first guess, based on my poor understanding of your description, is that you need to tell Windows that you are on a "private network".
