Netgear Powerline Utility for Mac OS not working in Mavericks

I recently performed a clean install of OS X Mavericks (10.9) on my Mac and re-installed the Netgear Powerline Utility (v. 3.1.0.3) for Mac. Unfortunately, the utility it is unable to see my XAVB5001...

Would you mind kindly describing how to run the PLC as "sudo ./PLC"? I'm not familiar with the steps to make that happen and would love to configure the XWN5001 I have.
