PL1000 compatibility with older Netgear PL adapters. Specifically PL100 adapter.
I upgraded my PL adapters to PL 1000 from PL100s. Previously I would go direct to the router on my PC but I am now in a different situation where I cannot do that so I use the PL1000 for my PC but I also have two older PL100 adapters. Are they compatible and if so how do I get them to talk?

Yes, the new PL1000 model is Homeplug AV2 compliant whereas the PL100 (XAV1201) uses just Homeplug AV. This means they will work together however the PL1000 won't be working at its full potential, and you will be limited to the 100Mbps caused by the PL100 you own.

Within the box of the powerline will be a instruction manual or QSG with the actions on how to get them connect.
