Plp1200 security
Is there any way to know if security is on? I pressed the 2 buttons I think with in 2 minuets. There is no indication so do I just trust it is engaged?

I was talking about Windows programs. I should have said.
I don't think the mobile apps have that feature. My Android app doesn't help on that front. If there is a desktop program for Macs, maybe that would help.

Try installing Netgear's desktop genie or the Powerline Utility.
The Network Map in the genie should have a Powerline section. The you can right click to see the security settings or see a padlock in the Powerline Utility.
One proviso, I am doing this with 500 plugs. I hope the same approach works with faster devices.

I tried the iPad version of genie and there is no power line section. I take it there is a Windows version. I'll try that later today. Thanks for the response.

Used the Windows app and found it with a padlock, so all is good. Again thanks for the help.

Phew. I got it right for once.
Glad it worked.
