I assume that it is the wifi password you want to know.
Try the manual, page 11.
Customize Your Network Settings
When prompted to log in, enter the user name admin and the
password password.
I assume that you have already got your powerline adapters talking to each other. (See page 7.)

Thanks for this. It was helpful. I just wish I had found it two hours earlier. Has anyone mentioned to Netgear technical writers that this is exactly the type of image needed in the manual for this device? Nowhere in the manual does it say that the password is labeled as the "key" on the product label on the device.

I'm adding a second "access point" device in another part of my home (had to buy a kit with both devices to get the second access point - go figure). To keep me sane, shouldn't I try to change the password on the second access point and make it the same as my original passowrd from my original access point - so that when I walk thru the house with my cell phone I won't have to reconnect -or is that totally stupid and perhaps I should just let my phone, I-pad, etc., connect to whichever is stronger - just leave it up to them. I am low-tech and I apologize if this is a dumb question.

Thanks, Netgear should note this in the documentation, just spent an 120 mins trying to locate and followed misleading advice on other threads. This was the simple solution, thanks for posting
