PLW1000 / Compatibility with older TP-link powerline adapters?
I've recently purchased a PLW1000 and everything seems to be working fine, including cloning my existing home network so it's constantly switching to and from the extender network (I know that's probably easy peasy for but me was quite an achievement)
I have got some older TP-Link AV200 mini powerline adapters (TL-PA211 UK Ver 1.2) and whilst I didn't think they would alongside the PLW1000 straight out of the box I did think I'd be able to reset and repair. Alas that's not the case and I'm wondering if anyone can offer any advice as to whether this is possible and what alternative steps I might try to get everything talking to one another.
Thanks in advance
Pete

Searched on TP-Link's website and these two articles may be helpful.
Why can’t the Powerline Adapter be detected by the others?
How to configure TP-Link Powerline utility to secure my power line network?

They cannot handle the communications protocols that prevail in AV2 plugs.
You are jumping two generations there. AV500 would entail a lesser hit.
