Im wondering if anyone knows the actual wifi speed rating of the PLW1000v2 wifi adapter that comes in the kit? It is dual band N+AC but what are the speeds? Is it N300 + AC450 for example makin...

It is an answer. You just have to read what you wrote and tie the two together.
The Data Sheet for the PLW1000 says "IEEE® 2.4 GHz/5 GHz 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac wireless interface".
You can also consult the Powerline User Manual somewhere at the end of this link:

The "1000" refers to the wired Ethernet speed. But you knew that already.
Unfortunately, I doubt if Netgear is likely to show us the wifi speeds that it gets in its own lab tests.
