Power extender

Hi I already have a Netgear powerline adapter setup for wired connections downstairs at home but what Netgear product do I require to plug into my home electrical socket upstairs to send the powerline signal via wifi? TIA

You have a couple of options. You can buy Powerline devices that include a wifi access point. Unfortunately, Netgear does not sell single wifi only plugs, so you have to buy them as a pair.

You can buy AP plugs from other makers and they shou

ld work with your Netgear Powerline network.

Or you can buy a wireless extender that will operate in access point mode and plug the extender into the LAN port of your Powerline plug.
