Powerline 1000 PL1000v2 - PC Gaming speeds degrade when using product
Powerline 1000 PL1000v2... My son and I are connected to the same 25MBS modem/router. I wanted to leverage more of the 25MBs therefore I connected a Powerline PL1000 to the router and my work computer downstairs. Within 24 hours my son reported gaming speed degradation even when my work computer was not connected. Has anyone else experience degradation on other ethernet connections after installing a Powerline solution? Note: The router is not wireless.

It shouldn't cause the problems you have explained. How were you connecting to the router before?

Problems with game speed since disconnecting power line. I'm doing some trial and error now. Let you know if I can determine if something about my work computer causes degradation.
