Powerline 1000 plug to plug connection issue
I had my mini network setup working great with a unit I purchased about 6 months ago.
Decided I needed an additional wifi access point, so I purchased an additional set. I plugged in the new wifi AP and it seems to sync up briefly. But then I started having problems with the plug2plug connections. I thought it might be because I pushed one of the security buttons prematurely. I tried the reset buttons, turning everything I could think of on/off but nothing worked. Then I removed the Ethernet only app and set up the network with just the two wifi units. It works great. But doesn’t solve my problem as I need three points. Anyone have a similar problem or an idea about what could be going wrong with the Ethernet AP failing to connect plug2plug when wifi AP has not problem (using exact same outlet!)

>>> Adding a powerline adapter to an existing powerline network <<<
Do this to add the access point plug to the "host" plug on the router.
If you don't need the extra Ethernet only plug, just leave it out of the network. Or you could use it as another outlet after you introduce it to the host plug.
