That's probably the "Pick A Plug LED".
It is telling you that the data rate is changing. There may be some interference on the mains. If things are working as expected, don't worry.

Thanks for taking your time to respond. I'm not very worried about it as all is working very well. But yes, the manual, the NETGEAR customer service does leave a whole lot to the imagination. Fabulous products practically nonexistent customer sevice or help.
