Sorry for the confusion.
Plugging the Fire TV directly into the Powerline adapter via ethernet gets 7 mbps down/ 20 up (I downloaded a speedtest via kodi addons).
Connecting the Fire TV via WiFi gets 25 mbps down/55 mbps up.
I hope this makes more sense.

Hi VioD,
Speeds can vary depends on how far the distance are. This is same as the wireless. The farther the distance it travels(electric current) the slower the connection.
