Powerline 1200 Slow Upload Speed
So here is my situation:
I have my AirPort Extreme connected to Adapter A in the living room. I had to use a plug extension in order to plug the adapter into the wall because of space restrictions. Plugged into the same outlet is a powerstrip that powers the living room tv, receiver, apple tv, modem, and the airport extreme.
Adapter B is feeding my PlayStation 4 in the adjacent dining room.
Both Adapters are plugged directly into a wall receptacle.
When I test the network through my PS4 settings, it tells me that I'm getting about 60-70 Mbps Download (which I am completely satisfied with), and only 1.5-3 Mbps Upload (which is abysmal).
It is my understanding that a standard upload speed should be about 10-15% of the download speed, not less than 5%.
Is there something I can do get these upload speeds up to snuff? Is there interference coming from somewhere that would only affect the upload speed? Any help would be welcome! Thank you in advance!

Hi eiss,
When devices are connected directly to your router, do you get the same upload speed? If no, try connecting the two adapters in the same room with the router and check the speed.

I seem to have a similar issue with my PL1200.
When i look at the Genie view the TX are all RED 10Mbps and the RX are all 100-280 mbps.
I had an existing network of XAV5501 which worked fine. I bought a pair of PL1200 and have had nothing but trouble since. The loss is also high and they cut out all the time,
When the PL1200 are introduced the upload speeds of all the XAV5501 and PL1200 all drop to the 10mbps RED levels.
I tried default keys and establishing a private key, same result.
It also seems that onle one PL1200 can ever work in that network with my XAV5501.
The PL1200 is also not really manageable by Genie or powerline utility which is frustrating. (They always show as unknown).

Hi FGibbons,
1. Did you replace the XAVs with PLs?2. What is your network setup? including the distance of each powerline.
