Powerline 2000 stopped working
Hello. I have a pair of Powerline 2000 devices that were purchased in early 2020, installed according to the instructions with no problem, and have been working ever since until now.
We have the one that is connected to the modem and the one upstairs.
Twice in the past two months, the one upstairs lost internet connection and this was resolved by unplugging it and plugging it back in again.
Today the one upstairs lost internet connection and it replugging it did not solve the issue. After trying all the troubleshooting tips in the manual, I factory reset both (held the button for 10+ seconds).
Now I just have a flashing green power light on the one connected to the modem, and solid green power and ethernet lights on the one upstairs. If I unplug and replug the one upstairs, I get all three lights solid green for about 5 seconds (ish? I haven't actually timed it) and then the pick-a-plug light goes out. I haven't been able to observe both at the same time.

Tried swapping them around?
Or putting them nearer to each other in the same room? That could rule out circuit problems.

Like michaelkenward says, try plugging them in in the same room on the same circuit.
Many things can inject intererence into the powerline circuit.
These include:
Electronics going bad
Cheap/poorly made electronics
Sketchy cell phone chargers
HIgh draw appliances
Surge protectors
ARC fault/GFCI circuits
Old/Poorly wired houses
And other things.
Basically, anything connected to the power circuit can inject interference. Its tough to troubleshoot too because it can be something on a totally different circuit in a different part of the home causing issues. I had a microwave once that would kill a powerline system whenever it turned on. So it can be a challenge to troubleshoot. But if you put them on the same circuit and they work, it tends to mean the devices are fine, its just getting interference from somewhere. If they don't work, it doesn't mean they're bad. It could still be the interfernce being strong enough to cause the issue. Then you have to try someone elses place.
