Powerline 500 with Samsung Galaxy Tabe E

Hello,

I have a Powerline 500 with XWNB5201 access Wifi point. I've installed as in the intstructions and although the Wifi connection Netgear-Ext2 works fine with my Windows 10 Laptop but will not connect with my Samsung Galaxy Tab E.

I've tried every which way but still can't get it to work and there seems to be nothing in the Community.

Has anyone any ideas please?

Thanks

Rod

Many thanks Michael. It was the password that I'd got wrong although I was sure it was correct.

Sorry to have bothered you and thanks for taking the time to help.

Yes it does - the message is that there is an Authentifcation Error.

Thank you Michael for your response.

So, you are feeding the Samsung with the password and it throws up that message?

Sounds like it is getting the wrong password.

Does the Samsung have the opportunity to use WPS authentication? My wife's Galaxy Tab S does.

If so, you could try that. It is push button and password free.

See the Samsung manual for how to do it.
