Powerline AV 200 LED has gone from green to red
I've just moved into a brand new house, which should have solid wiring, all running through one circuit breaker. One Poweline unit is in next to the coax/CAT 5 wiring box in the basement. A few weeks ago, I connected the other Powerline to an iMac on the ground floor and about 20 feet further toward the front of the house. The Powerline LED was green.
Then I used it for a few days to connect another Mac in the basement, and all was good there. Yesterday, I moved it back upstairs, to the same socket that gave green a week ago, and now the best I can get is a red LED.
First, why wouldn't I get green all over this small, newly constructed home?
Second, why would the socket that gave green a week ago now be red?
Thanks for your ideas!
Best,
Russell

Hi rbanks88,
If you move the adapter to a different socket or closer to the 1st powerline adapter do you still get red light on the 2nd powerline. The powerline depends on the movement of electric current.
