Powerline AV200 - need wireless adaptor
I bought a Powerline AV200 three years ago to hard wire a PC in my garden office. Now I need a wireless adaptor because I have no wifi in my bedroom which is the other side of the kitchen from the living room where my Virgin Media router is installed. I want wifi mainly to check Facebook etc on my phone whilst in bed with my night time cuppa but also because I am thinking of buying a Fire TV stick for a TV in my bedroom. Can someone please advise me what I need to order? The man in PC World said I do not need to buy another product @ £39.95 but Netgear should be able to offer me an adaptor.

You could use a range extender. While they can wirelessly extend a Wi-Fi signal, that can impose a pretty big speed penalty. It's usually better to install one that can be wired via Ethernet or Powerline to the router, with Ethernet being vastly preferred due to its speed and reliability.
For example, if your garden office is near your bedroom, you could connect an extender to your existing Powerline network. Or you could even install a second Powerline network to your bedroom. Powerline performance varies with distance, so this may not necessarily be better than going all wireless.
If you do decide to go with the wired option, among Netgear's lineup of range extenders you will want a model that supports wired Access Point mode. AFAIK, there are two models that do NOT support it: WN2500RP and EX6100. All the other models should support it, but do your own research to confirm it. Look at the manual for the model you are interested in and look for Access Point mode. You can find the manual from the product page or from support.netgear.com.

I am in a different house now so no garden office. I have just plugged it into the bedroom I use for my study so it is connected to the PC.
