1. What are the lights on the powerline adapter?

Hi James,
Thank you for your reply.
1. Lights are all on and green (wifi light blue) and solid. Since posting I have done a factory reset as the two devices were not connecting. This has fixed that issue but I am still unable to get a wifi signal out of the extender.
2. I currently have the first part of the powerline connected to the router via an ethernet cable which is located on the groundfloor at the front of the house. The extender is upstairs and at the back of the house.
