Powerline PLW 1000 issues not connecting
I have researched for a fix for this for 2 days, and don't understand what I am doing wrong. I had one of these before that died and it worked fine with my same setup. I have a google 1GB internet/ro...

Still doesn't connect to internet. I don't get it. The lights all seem to work on the PLW device(s) but when I select the powerline EXT/ or 5G EXT as my internet it simply doesn't connect. Anyone from Netgear want to chime in? I tried to contact support aout this but there was a (suspicious) problem where the page got hung up rather than forwarding my problem... intenet page simply froze when I tried to submit my problem on multiple internet windows, devices, etc. I will give it until tomorrow before I give up on Netgear and try another company...

What happens? Time out? Error message?
Remember, with wifi it takes two to tango. Your wifi clients also have to play ball.
You can clearly see the SSIDs from the PLW1000. Have you set up the security and password on the PLW1000?
- djbrettbSep 30, 2017AspirantI have pushed the security button on the adaptor with the wifi antennas, it blinks a green light like it is supppsed to... but when I push the security button on the adaptor plugged into the modem it doesn't do anything (not sure if it is supposed to also blink). I have tried this pushing one adapter button, then the other... and then switching it up, as far as which one I push first. The instructions don't say which to push first so I tried it both ways and same result...

I enter the password which is on the sticker for the adaptor, so the default one it came with... which it seems to accept, as I don't get any message about it being incorrect... yet it just does not connect to internet afterwards
