Purchase PLW1000 WIFI AP separately?
Hello,
I have the Netgear PLW1000, which consists of 1 Powerline 1000 adapter and 1 Powerline Wifi 1000 access point:

It has been working well so far, but there is just one area in the house where the WIFI-signal is not able to reach. Therefore I am looking for one more Powerline Wifi 1000 ap, that works with the Powerline 1000 adapter I already have. Is it possible to purchase the Powerline Wifi 1000 access point separately somewhere?
Thank you and regards.

I haven't seen it but I'm sure there's some on the 3rd party (used) market.

That could be easier to set up than a different brand. Same familiar controls.
I have mixed brands. But not the wifi version.
You can also use a wired only Powerline plug to connect a wifi extender in AP mode. That would actually provide a more capable wifi source than the minimalist extender combination plugs. It might be easier, and cheaper, to lay your hands on a wired plug.

The PLW1000 is typically part of Hikvision's Power over Ethernet (PoE) and WiFi solutions, often bundled with PoE switches or NVRs.
Availability as a standalone product may vary depending on your region and supplier.

Not that anyone has discovered and reported here.
The good news is that powerline stuff is more industry standard than most devices. They all use the same AV standard.
Other brands do sell wifi only plugs. They should be compatible with your existing kit.
