Wow. You were right. Simply changing the router and power line adapter to the same SSID did the trick. It’s now under one name. My only other question to you is how would I change the settings on the powerline adapter going forward? Now that it’s all under the same SSID, I cannot login into mywifiext.net. I’ve tried an Ethernet login and a wireless. How would I login to change channels, SSID/password in the future?

The Powerline adapter should have an IP address. You may have to look it up by logging into your router. Use that address to log into the adapter.
The other, less reliable option is to move near the adapter and then connect to the Wi-Fi network. Chances are that your device will connect through the adapter. Then mywifiext.net should work.
