Need help with this: I have a set of 2 Netgear Powerline AV Ethernet Adapters, model XAVB101, which worked fine connecting 2 laptops w Windows Vista and bringing the internet to both. For this I have been using a Linksys router
WRT 160-N, v. 2.
Then I got laptops with Windows 7 and downloaded the Powerline Utility v. D2.0.0.8 which supposedly upgrades compatibility to Windows 7 for these Netgear products.
Meanwhile I also changed my internet service to DSL provided by my phone co.
But the powerline lights in the middle of each Adapter do not come on, and there seems to be no communication between the Adaptors. I tried factory resets but so far, no results. Also tried the classic turning the router and DSL modem on and off.
Any troubleshooting or fixing suggestions? These will be greatly appreciated, thanks!
