With respect, you need to improve your logic: the complaint was not that the utility was useless, the complaint was the advice to use the utility was useless, because the advice did not clearly identify which utility and where to find it.
A common problem with knowledgeable people is assuming other people have knowledge they do not have.
As a professional instructor who is always aiming to avoid assuming my students possess "common knowledge" I see many forum experts make this mistake when giving advice.
