Using Powerline 1200 and virgin media broadband. Keep getting speed reductions

Get good speed of 100+ mbps, but it does drop to less than 50 a lot of the time. If I switch of the powerline 1200 connected to the router, and switch it back on again, I instantly go back up to 100+ mbps again. Anyone got any ideas as to what the problem is, or a fix please?

    Hi RobinWorlidge,

How far is the 2nd adapter from the 1st powerline adapter? You may try relocating it to a closer location from the 1st powerline and test the connection speed.

      Hi JamesGL

It is only about 15 feet away in the next room. Don't have to reboot the powerline that my pc is plugged into, just the one that the router is plugged into in the other room. Don't even have to reboot the router, just the powerline. Have tried swapping over the powerlines, but still get the same problem - have to reboot the powerline that the router is plugged into, so it doesn't seem to be a problem with the powerlines?

      Regards

      Robin

        Hi RobinWorlidge,

Can you connect the 2nd powerline same room with 1st powerline and check the connection. If still the same try replacing it if you are still within the warranty from store.
