It picks up the wifi. The Powerline network is completely separate. The EX2700 won't connect via the Powerline.

I've got a WiFi dead spot in my house and as I have a 2 Netgear powerline XAV5101 adapters and as they are currently connected to my router to pass the broadband around the house I was wondering if the EX2700 just added to my existing powerline network or just picked up my existing WiFi network and improved the dead spot
