WLAN Acces Point XWNB5201 compatible with XAVB5501?

Hallo

I have installed Powerline XAVB5501. I want to extend with a WLAN Acces Point. I have two questions:

- Is WLAN Acces Point XWNB5201 compatible with XAVB5501?

- Would you recommend another product, e.g. XWNB5602?

- What's the difference?

Thanks a lot for your help in advance!

I have used a mishmash of different Netgear Powerline equipment. It all works together fine and meshes in well enough with the XWNB5201.

I haven't used the XAVB5501, but I have used the XAVB5421 which looks like similar kit.

The problem that many people complain about is that they cannot buy a standalone Powerline wifi plug. This can add to the cost of having two extenders on the system. But maybe that depends on where you are.
