WN3500RO continual loss of connectivity after 2/3 days

I have a MacPro with the latest OS 10.7.5 ad my MacPro loses connectivity to Netgear extender which can only be fixed by turning off the extender for 10 sec and restarting it. It is annoying and time...

I think it's called the 'terminal'. You should be able to just put in 'ping 8.8.8.8' and it should keep going and keep the powerline from sleeping.
