XAV5501/XAVB5001/XAVB5501 Wake On Lan (WOL) support?
Hi everyone,
I can't find anything in the powerline manuals or datasheets that indicates whether the XAV5501/XAVB5001/XAVB5501 powerline adapters support passing Wake on Lan (WOL) packets...
Does anyone have a definitive answer on this? I can't seem to get it to work. Will try plugging it into the "non powerline bridged" network to test but my guess at this stage is that it's not supported?

- Just moved the device from the powerline ethernet bridge to the LAN and WOL worked perfectly so it appears that WOL doesn't work with the device being bridged via the powerline adapters. Is there some technical reason for this? Is there any workaround?
- How do you mean: moved to non bridged and it workes?
I have also problems getting WOL to work over Powerline. ..
It simply doesn't work. I have XAVT5602 100GRS 3x adapters
and i can't turn on my NAS through Powerline adapter.
I had my NAS wired connected to the router before,
and WOL was working flawlessly. I could wake it even with
my mobile phone through WiFi.
I don't see any settings can be made with Powerline adapters!?
Help me how to get WOL working through Powerline adapters? - Ok so if you plug a Powerline adapter straight to your PC, WOL will not work. Why? Because my default when the PC is not in use it goes into standby. By connecting one to a router and the other to a modem neither goes into standby so WOL will work in that case.
