XET1001 Wall Plug Ethernet Adaptor
When we moved into our new bungalow the previous owner left a Netgear XET1001 Wall Plugged Ethernet Adapter plugged in ithe living room.
I have a BT Router for wireless connection. I was wondering what the purpose of this item is. There is no software if it needs installing or literature. I do have a yellow Ethernet cable if that has a purpose.
Could someone kindly advise me please.

- lurzanNoviceNetgear XET1001 is a powerline adapter. It's a device use to extend the Internet connection of your router through the existing electrical circuit of your building.
