XWNB5201

I have been given this item and want to use it but I don't have a password for it nor do I have an email connected to it's original purchase. How can I reset the unit and give it a new password? Please. {Don't have contact with previous owner}.

    I Have searched form information using the powerline without a password but not yet found the solution. Thanks for the information you sent me.

      What are you doing and what happens?

       

      Can you see the wifi from the plug?

       

      Is it talking to the plug connected to the router? What do the Powerline LEDs on both plugs look like?

       

      The XWN5001 won't work without something like an XAV5201 connected to the router.

    You don't need a password to set it up.

     

    Manuals are always a good place to start.
