A6100 Blue Screen SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

Hi - Hope you can help!

OS Win 8.1
A6100 Software Version 1.0.0.17

Installed the software, plugged in the adapter at the software prompt, then the system bluescreens immediately:

    As fast as possible after boot go to device manager and uninstall the driver. Then install the driver via the installation disc that came with it.
    Now connect to the Internet but not via the Genie, but the normal windows way. This worked for me when I got your problem.
