A6100 on Windows 10
I tried installing in Windows 8 Compatibility Mode but the PC cannot detect the device. Anyone know of a temporary fix until final release of Win10 and drivers are made available? Thanks, all.

1. In device manager, click on the 6100 and choose update driver, browse my computer, let me choose which drivers, and uncheck show compatible drivers
2. Select Realtek Semiconducter Corp (use the 2nd one down on the list - there are two in a row)
3.On the right side select Realtek 8812AU Wireless LAN 802.11 ac USB NIC Version 1027.4.1120.2014 (use the second one down on the list again with the driver date of 02/17/2015)
4. Ignore the warning message and install it anyway
5. Should Work for Windows 10 Now!

So I did what you said, and it is now recognizing the A6100. I am also connected to the local network, and it says that I am connected to the internet, however none of my browsers can bring up a web page. At first I thought that it may be a firewall issue, so I disabled it, but that didn't work either. So it shows as fully connected and working, however I can't get to the internet. Please advise.
Thanks,

You prolly have some a6100 program running in the background somewhere or otherwise windows10 is reverting back to the old driver or another configuration all on its own. Check to see and if so uninstall it. Also, in device manager uninstall a6100 driver, unplug the usb nic, then plug it back in and follow instructions in my previous post. Should work fine after that.

Amazing! It's working. You were right. I had the Genie software driver installed. I uninstalled it and then unplugged the dongle, then replugged it and then installed the driver you recommended, and ---- YES!!!! Local area and Internet working! Super. Thank you!
Shame on Netgear though for not updating their drivers!
Thanks,
