A6100
I recently purchased this device, the A6100, downloaded the software, plugged it in to my desktop, and it connected right away to my internet signal, that's great, now I have a wireless connection to my desktop. Problem is, I can't seem to print wirelessly from my computer. I have (2) printers and neither one will print. Is there a driver I need to install or something? For reference, I can print to both of those printers wirelessly using my Ipad so I know the printers accept the wireless signal. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

These are wireless printers?
Do they show up in Windows?
Did they work before you added the USB adapter?
Have you put the printers through their wifi setup routines? That is usually down to software that comes with the printer.

Yes, yes, and yes. The printers have always worked without issue wirelessly, and like I mentioned they still do work today, as long as I am printing from my ipad or other "wireless" device. It's just that my desktop computer was not "wireless" so I installed the A6100 on it. The internet connection to my desktop works fine now with the A6100, I just can't seem to print wirelessly from my desktop.

do you go into windows and change it from a public connection (default for new networks) to private? That allows network discovery to work to install the printer driver.

No, I have not, didn't think I would need to. I may need to find a driver then. I installed the "software" with the A6100, but unless there were drivers within the "software", i have not specifically installed any "drivers".

1. make sure its set through windows to a private network
2. then do a scan for the wireless printer. It should auto-add it once detected on the private network
