A6200 wifi adapter needs uninstalling and reinstalling

Windows 7   64 bit

I have a A6200. I am getting  it auto-disabling and the odd blue screen. I would like to uninstaal it and reinstall with a new copy of the software, just in case it has become corrupted.

I see on the Netgear download site that I can download software 'A6200 version 1.0.0.26-1 (supports Win10)'.

This contains a file 'A6200-V1.0.0.26-1_software-version.zip'

Which contains a file   ' - - - - setup win 8.1_win 10 - - - - '

So it appears this is no good for my Win 7? Yet the downloadable datasheet says Win 7 - Win 10

Can I use the above file or not?

Thanks

Yes, you should be able to use that.

Whether or not it is a good idea to have anything on Windows 7 is a different matter.

There are, of course, older versions of the drivers in the library.

Thanks a lot - I see that earlier releases are there, perhaps it would be better to use the one at or just after the one I have installed
