A6210 not connecting to 5ghz anymore

I've been using my A6210 for the past year or so and it has worked primarly without error. However, as of yesterday (after I installed the latest windows 10 update) the device and the genie application refuses to connect to my 5ghz wifi. It works with my slower 2.4ghz without a problem but when I try to connect back to my 5ghz it takes my password and processes it but nothing happens. I have restarted my computer 5+ times and reinstalled the genie drivers twice. It sucks not to be able to use my 5Ghz as this is the only reason I purchased this thing in the first place.
