AC7000 genie wont start

I downloaded the A7000_V1.0.0.15_Windows file to install the genie so the genie will give me the program yeah well I installed it and waited for the genie to open so i could start the setup and it wasnt opening I uninstalled it then reinstalled it still nothing idk if im dumb or something i really need help

    I usually use the stand alone driver and just let windows manage the wireless connection setup. Have you tried that?

      I'm guessing here, but I think that plemans is referring to the "SA" program mentioned in the release notes:

       

      A7000 Software Version 1.0.0.15 (Windows) | Answer | NETGEAR Support

       

      You will find that the zip file contains two exe files.

       

      Try A7000_Windows_Standalone_V1.0.0.15.exe

       

      Or see if the native drivers in Windows will work.
