I think its borderline criminal that Netgear has not done anything to formally adress this issue. Their support team should go on "dancing with the stars" because they would suely win! Anyway, I went far beyond anything that has been previously recommeded here when I was able to get two other vendor's drivers working with the A6200; however, they both exhibited the frequent disconnects that everyone is still complaining about. FYI, the reason I was able to do this is because there are 6 other adapters that use the same Broadcom/Skyworks configuration; however, none of them offer a Windows 10 driver. And, btw, the Netgear driver is dated from 2013 so that's why I tried the other vendors drivers (which had later dates).
Anyway, its game, set, match for me. I just threw mine in the trash. I should have listened to all the complaints before I bough this unit; however, I was hoping I could be one of the 40% that could actually get this working but I ended up in the 60% "frequent disconnects club" instead. No bigge... I'm movin on...
Cheers!

Known issue. Just use free standing driver without Genie. Deinstall everyting, reinstall free standing driver. You should throw the Genie into trash.
Not the adapter, LOL!

Thats right. its not a costly car that can be recalled for fixing. If you face issues and in warranty go to the store and get it replaced or rma it.
Matter closed.
