Connection stability issues Nighthawk AX1800 USB Adapter
Hi,
I from France and just bought an adapter USB the Nighthawk AX1800 WIFI USB (A7500) . I constantly encounter problems with my connection. My wifi is very slow especially in games. I tought it could came from my router but there is no problem with my phone, ipad or TV. I start thinking that my adapter might be defective.
anyone have a solution ?

Ok but what router is it? Model?
I'm not saying this is you but we see a surprising amount of people with old Wireless N or AC systems that are basic devices who then buy a "new/high speed" adapter and don't understand why its slow or has issues.
Also, what 5ghz channels is the router set on?
What speeds do you get with a speedtest?
What speeds do you pay for?
What speeds do you get from a hardwired devices connected to the router?
What router are you connected to?
What band are you connected to? The 2.4ghz or 5ghz? (hint, make sure its on the 5ghz, 2.4ghz is a slow network sensitive to interference)
How far from the router are you?
Whats between the router and the device with the A7500? (brick walls, appliances, etc. ) Certain materials block wifi extremely well, so it's important to know what's between the 2.
it’s my main router. Yes 5ghz. I am only 5 meters next to my router. There is no wall/door, only my sofa.
