desktop-upgraded to windows 10- usb dongle setup incomplete

dongle not working after update to W10. says setup incomplete. tried reinstalling, and rebooting. still doesn't connect. worked fine on 8.1 :(

Same problem.  I have a desktop with windows 7 and I upgraded to 10 because other said it worked.  NOPE, BIG MISTAKE.  Dongle worked fine before the upgrade and now is bricked afterwards.  When I plug in the dongle nothing happens.  When I try to load the software, the install manager freezes.  I need to find a ethernet one.

 

Netgear, you had plently of time to create a driver for Windows 10.  Shame on you.

    What model of adaptor do you have? In the 'Recommendations' area to the right of this screen you should see a number of threads where people have devices working fine with Windows 10.
