Do I need Mediatek RT2870 Wireless Lan Card Driver?

This driver seems redundant if I have A6210 Netgear genie installed.

 

I ran a Driver Genius scan and this driver popped up to install.

 

Do I need it?  is it need for my A6210 adapter?

 

I had a A6200 adapter and this Mediatek Lan Card driver never popped up then.

So this driver is indeed necessary OR I can uninstall it - yes?

    Welcome to Community!

     

    You can choose which driver you will use. If you already installed the NETGEAR driver then no need for you to use the MediaTek driver.
