how can I connect my channel master dvr to wifi using my WNDA3100 (wireless-n dual band)?
JUST GOT A CHANNEL MASTER DVR AND HAVE AN OLD WIRELESS ADAPTER. CAN I USE THE 3100V2 TO GET WIRELESS INTERNET TO MY DVR? IF SO HOW?

I have the same question except my USB adapter is from Channel Master for their DVR. I have a WNR2000v2.
The DVR shows it sees the router but cannot connect ( this is all done via the TV screen). The DVR will connect via cable.
I have tried auto connect, manual connect, have line of site to the router from the adapter, I added the MAC address from the adapter to the Wireless card accest list. I have researched for answers online and in this forum. I have done everything I think I could find with the exception of the use of a sledgehammer.
Any help would be very much appriciated.
I am using a Mac computer for access

Hi Y_B,
Is the model number of your adapter WNDA3100? If yes, this type of adapter is intended for computers and not with DVR. You may need to check with the Channel Master if the device has been modified to work with DVR.

Thanks for replying.
I have no way of knowing if this is a duel band. Channel master said this was the only one recommended to work with their DVR and was sold by them. I connected it up to my Mac to try and get some info but it is not recognizing it.
I will contact Channel Master and ask them.
