issue with connection to Vivid Homegateway

I am having problems getting the Netgear N300 WiFi USB adapter to connect to my wifi inmy vivid homegateway modem. I can see the device but it will not connect. It tries and the lights flash on the modem but no connection.  Does anyone or has anyone had this problem and found a solution.

    What is the model number of your adapter?

    Will it work if connect it to a different network?

    Do you other devices that can connect to vivid home gateway modem?

      Hi,

       

      The adapter is N300 USB (WNA3100).

      Used it to connect to work on the same computer.

      Other devices connect to the network wirelessly.

        Do you get any error message on the adapter when connecting to the modem? Also how many devices are currently connected? Base on Vivid website, it can only accommodate upto 5 deivces connected at the same time. Please try to disconnect other devices and connect only this computer.
