Moving RN202 from one location to another

Our office in process of moving. I have created Readycloud account and tested my 2 users access to the Readycloud documents after taking the NAS offline. They were able to connect into the cloud and access documents fine. However, I disconnected my work computer before I accessed the cloud. I cannot get to the documents from this computer, but can from my mobile app. We are going to have to work this way for at least a week until our office is ready. I have instructed users to save any modifications to cloud and when we hook NAS up in new location I will simply sync info.

My dilemma, I have the actual NAS with me at my home. Can I install and access the NAS information without deleting any information? I just want to make sure I can install this to my home WIFi without losing anything. Thank you.

  • This section is all about USB adaptors. Not much in common there with NAS storage.

You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:

ReadyNAS Network Storage: Official NETGEAR Community

I will ask the Netgear moderator to move your message.

In the meantime you could visit the support pages:

    Support | NETGEAR

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.

You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.

I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.

Thank you. I decided to dive in and try and it worked. Unfortunately, I was thrown into this role so it has been trial and error as I have found out. Problem all solved.
