N300 WiFi USB Adapter - Can't Connect to the WiFi

I do not have a CD drive but I installed the software to use the product that works with Win 10. Everything so far so good. It installed and told me to plug in the USB. It recognizes the regular wifi that I normally see when I try to connect to and wireless resource but the thing is, I do not have an actual wifi router.

To save money, I have TWC for cable only, and use my account to connect to their TWCWiFi which is handy because it is not too far away but I only get 2 signals. I bought the product for this very reason, though, normally my laptop wifi can automatically connect to their TWCWiFi or even CableWiFi and transfers me to a website to log in with my account and all but for this adapter, it just simply does not connect. Can I possibly connect at all?

  • Hi Vennyul2,

    Welcome to Community!

Have you tried to connect it to a regular wifi connection instead of the TWCWiFi? Just to check if the adapter works.

      Hi Vennyul2,

If that's the case, you may need to check with TWCWiFi if they limitations or compatibility with network adapters.
